Personal Information We Collect
Information you give us. Personal information you may provide through the Site or otherwise communicate to us includes:
- Contact information. We collect information about you when you provide contact information to us via email, mail, or through the Site. This information may include your first and last name, company, title, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
- Feedback and correspondence. We may collect information about you when you request information, respond to surveys, participate in market research activities, or otherwise correspond with us.
- Job applications. Our Site may allow you to submit applications for employment opportunities with Curetis USA, which may include your resume, cover letter and other personal information. You may also provide additional personal information during interviews and other interactions with us regarding your application. Personal information received in connection with job applications will be kept confidential in accordance with Curetis USA’s standard HR policies.
Information we get from others. We may obtain additional information about you from third party sources, such as data append service providers, publishers, lead generation vendors, social media sites, and advertising agencies to provide you with more relevant information about our products and services. If you apply for a job with us, we may collect reference information and/or information received from background checks (where applicable) from third parties and information about your educational or professional background from publicly available sources.
Sensitive personal information. We ask that you not provide to us any sensitive personal information (e.g., social security numbers, information related to racial or ethnic origin; political opinions, religion or other beliefs; health, biometrics or genetic characteristics; criminal background or union membership) through the Site or otherwise.
Changes to your personal information. It is important that the personal information we hold about you is accurate and current. Please let us know if your personal information changes during your relationship with us by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How We Use Your Personal Information

To consider your job applications. If you apply for a job with us, we will use your personal information for recruitment purposes, including evaluation of your application and skills, verifying your information, performing reference/background checks, and communicating with you about your application. If you are offered and accept employment, the information we collect during the recruitment process will become part of your employment record. If you do not receive and accept an offer of employment, we may retain your application for consideration for future employment opportunities.

We do not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except in the following circumstances:

Access to Customer Data. Curetis USA has no direct relationship with our customers’ users. An individual who seeks to access, correct or delete Customer Data or other information that we handle on behalf of our customers should direct their request the relevant customer. Third party sites and services
The Site may contain links to other websites and services operated by third parties. These links are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control third party websites, applications or services, and are not responsible for their actions. Other websites and services follow different rules regarding their collection, use and sharing of your personal information. We encourage you to read their privacy policies to learn more.

Security. The security of your personal information important to us. We are headquartered in the United States and have affiliates and service providers in other countries, and your personal information may be collected, used and stored in the United States or other locations outside of your home country. Privacy laws in the locations where we handle your personal information may not be as protective as the privacy laws in your home country.
